Contact Information By having my email address on my website for the past few years, it has been propagated to all the spammers’ lists of the Universe! Lately, the number of spam emails sent to my former account has become unmanageable. I was therefore forced to switch email accounts and adopt another method of displaying it to the people who want to contact me. Thus, since it’s impossible to broadcast the actual email address, I had to “represent it” with an image – here it is:  It reads: “belangermarc”, followed by “one, eight”, the “@” symbol and the Google Mail domain name. I apologize for the inconvenience of forcing a retranscription of the address, but there is no other way of avoiding spam, as “bots” are constantly on the job of retracing email addresses on websites to populate spammers’ email lists. As long as there is no clear legislation against spammers to protect us, I guess it will have to be this way... :-( |
