I'm a French Canadian happily living and working in Toronto, Ontario. My professional interests revolve around art and computers.

The pleasure of drawing is at the core of my desire to produce art and paper has always been my favourite playground – ink, pencil, charcoal, watercolor, pastel, printmaking... But my true passion remains watercolor.

At the end of the 90's, I started doing observation drawing (with live models) after not having done so since my studying years in Visual Arts (U of O, 1985). Not only did it change my life, but, for me, drawing suddenly took a whole new turn, as I fixed myself the goal of trying to make the most resemblant portraits I could. Hopefully, the works presented here will at least convey the magnificience of the presence I was graced with during their making.

As for computers, they have been part of my existence for more than twenty years now. In 1991, I completed a college degree in computer science. My 20 years in the IT world convinced me that the only way I could regain my freedom of choice, as a consumer, was to use, as much as possible, standardized communication protocols and file formats along with open source softwares. And recently it finally happened – I am now technofree – all the computers I use, at home and work, are running Linux (Ubuntu), including my cell (Android).

The Résumé section is my curiculum-vitae; the Gallery section contains mostly feminine portraits and figure studies that were done from 1998 to... yesterday!; finally, in the Folio section are other works that were published, commissioned or made just "for the fun of it".
